Christine Pound is a corporate and commercial lawyer who advises clients on transactions of all sizes, both domestic and international, as well as their day-to-day operational and governance needs. Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, banking and financing, corporate governance, and major infrastructure projects. Known for her practical, solutions-oriented approach, Christine has extensive experience leading teams and managing complex, multi-party transactions.
Christine has worked across a wide range of industries, including automotive, civil construction, environmental and waste services, transportation, agriculture, cannabis, and telecommunications. She represents both private and public companies and is well-versed in the unique considerations facing private equity firms and family offices. Her work also includes advising on inbound investment and cross-border financing structures.

Christine holds a B.Sc. from Acadia University and an LL.B. from Dalhousie University. She has also completed the Directors Education Program through the Institute of Corporate Directors/ICD-Rotman and earned the ICD.D designation.
