Halifax, NS — December 19, 2025 — Propel is proud to announce the companies graduating from its most recent Traction & Growth cohort, recognizing a group of founders who have demonstrated strong momentum and are actively scaling innovative businesses across a range of sectors.

The Traction & Growth cohort is designed for later-stage companies with demonstrated traction, providing hands-on support to help founders accelerate revenue, refine strategy, and prepare for their next phase of growth. Through tailored coaching, expert mentorship, and peer learning, participating companies strengthened their foundations and sharpened their path forward.

Graduating Companies

The companies graduating from Propel’s latest Traction & Growth cohort include:

AgroGene Solutions (New Brunswick) - An agri-biotechnology company developing advanced genetic solutions to improve crop productivity and sustainability through comprehensive honeybee hive diagnostics. “These founders entered the Traction & Growth cohort with ambition and momentum, and they leave with greater clarity, stronger execution, and a clear focus on what’s next,” comments Elaine McKinnon, Interim CEO, Propel. “We’re proud to support this group and excited to continue following their growth.”

“Propel helped bring real discipline to how I was building Weevva. The coaching pushed me to slow down, validate my assumptions, and stay focused on the real problems Weevva’s customers are trying to solve, rather than trying to be everything at once. That clarity helped me double down on the features that truly matter. I am really looking forward to this next phase of Weevva and grateful for everything I am taking away from the Propel experience,” comments Matt Creese, Founder and CEO, Weevva.

Through a series of cohorts throughout the year, Propel offers tailored programming and coaching for pre-revenue and revenue generating companies. Last year the program celebrated its 20th year of supporting startups and playing a lead role in fostering the tech ecosystem in Atlantic Canada.
